Kalinin Dmitry Valentinovich Dmitry V. Kalinin is a professor, doctor in the field of geology-mineralogists sciences at the Institute of Mineralogy and Petrography of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences. His research interests focus on synthesis of minerals and crystal growth, investigations of mechanism and kinetics of reactions of silicate formations, genesis and technology of synthesis of precious opals, photon crystals.

Serdobintseva Valentina Vasilievna Valentina V. Serdobintseva is a doctor in the field of geology-mineralogists sciences at the Institute of Mineralogy and Petrography of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences. She is an expert in field of mineralogy and geochemistry of synthesis of minerals, mechanism and kinetics of reactions of silicate formations. Her research interests also include investigations of genesis and technology of synthesis of precious opals, photon crystals.
